Chris Wareing's Homepage
Hello and welcome to my work web-pages. This is the new version of my work website now that I've moved to the University of Leeds. These pages will be updated fairly regularly with work-related stuff.
I am currently a post-doctoral research fellow working with Dr Rainer Hollerbach in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Leeds. I am an astrophysical fluid dynamicist. Currently I am working on magnetic field decay in the surface regions of neutron stars. Some small amount of my time is also spent working on AGB stars and planetary nebulae.
I am no longer the North-West Regional Coordinator for the Science for Schools programme organised by the Royal Institution of Great Britain. Please go to their webpages if you are looking for details of this programme: The Royal Institution.
My personal pages - jokes and photos etc. - can be found here.
