If you’re applying to study with us, you can visit the School of Mathematics both before and after you apply.

There are many different ways to visit us, which you’ll find listed below, along with directions/travel information.

Visiting the School of Mathematics

Before you apply to study with us, you could:

  • Attend an undergraduate Open Day.

There are usually five undergraduate Open Days each year, occurring in June, September and October.

An Open Day gives you a good opportunity to explore the University campus, view facilities and talk to current students and our team.

  • Book yourself onto a campus tour. These take place throughout the year, and could also include a School tour.

  • Make an independent visit. If you choose this option, please let us know that you are coming at least a week in advance.

A member of our team will meet you and show you around the School of Mathematics.

You might be invited to a visit afternoon (depending on our assessment of your application).

A visit afternoon would include presentations, demonstrations and tours in the School of Mathematics.
