How to apply
To make your application to the University of Leeds you need to use the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
You can apply through UCAS from September, for entry in September the following year. The usual closing date for receipt of applications is in January, but provided we have space we are happy to consider applications after this date, and applications through UCAS Extra.
When we receive your UCAS application, we will write to you with an offer, and invite you to choose one of our visit afternoons.
The next step is for you to accept or reject the offer through UCAS. You have the opportunity to choose a 'Firm' (first) place or 'Insurance' (second) place.
More information on how and when to reply to offers is available on the UCAS website and you can also watch the UCAS 'how to' guides for advice on making your application to understanding your offers.
Once you have satisfied the entry offer, or if you have been given an unconditional offer, the University will send you a letter in August confirming your place and giving details of the University Induction Week. In early September you will be sent a 'Welcome Pack' which will tell you everything that you need to know about arriving, living, registering and studying here at Leeds.
We welcome applications from students from abroad, students with non A-level qualifications, students with disabilities, and mature students. If you have any questions, please email us at maths.admiss@leeds.ac.uk
