The Pop Maths Quiz is a fun quiz with mathematical questions suitable for Year 7 and 8. Teams can have up to 6 pupils from Year 7 or 8. The Quiz will be followed by a prize giving. Teams cost £6 to enter.

This is the 2nd Pop Maths Quiz to be held at the University of Leeds and follows on from last year’s success:

“It was a fun day.”
“Interesting questions that made you think.”
“We have never done anything like this before. I'd do it again.”

Inside your head there is loads of amazing maths going on, right now! In this talk you’ll have the chance to explore how maths makes our brains ‘tick’, how magicians can make use of it to play tricks, and even how it can be used to build robots in the future. All you need to do is bring your brain along.
