Travelling to Leeds

General information about finding the University of Leeds and travel information can be found here:find us.

For international visitors, there are two international airports you should consider: Leeds/Bradford (LBA) and Manchester (MAN).  Manchester is a far larger airport and there is a regular train service from there to Leeds which takes about 1 hour and 15 min.  Leeds/Bradford is not on a train line, but there is a regular bus service and a taxi would be around £20 or so.

If you are travelling from outside Europe then we would recommend trying Manchester (there are direct flights from Manchester to the USA, Dubai and Singapore for example). It is also possible to fly to Heathrow and get the train. But the train from London is prohibitively expensive if it is not pre-booked and we do not recommend this option.
