LMS Summer School Success
Kathryn Laing, a third year MMath student has been invited to join the LMS Summer School running from 20-31 July, 2015. The aim of the School is to introduce modern mathematics to the best UK undergraduates. Well done Kathryn.

Mathematics at Leeds ranked in the top ten in REF2014
In the results of the recently announced 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF), Mathematics at Leeds was ranked equal 8th overall and equal 9th for research impact. The quality of research saw an increase in grade point average to 3.21 with 85% of work rated as internationally leading (4*) or internationally excellent (3*).
