From Leeds-Bradford Airport, you can either take a taxi or catch the Flying Tiger bus 757 to City Square/Leeds train station.

From Manchester Airport, there are direct trains to Leeds approximately every half hour; the journey is about an hour and a quarter. See National Rail Enquiries for more details.

From Leeds Train Station, there are several options:

  • Taxi: This will take about 10 minutes and will cost approximately £5. (NB: Uber also operates in Leeds.)
  • Bus: Take the number 1 bus (operated by First) to either Woodhouse Lane and Fenton Street or the Parkinson Steps (for the School of Maths), or to Woodhouse Lane and Clarendon Road (for the Henry Price Building). This will take 20-30 minutes, and will probably cost £2 (but it might be £1, £1.30, or £2.30). Update: there may be a bus strike in effect on Tuesday 26/7 (and beyond).
  • On foot: this should take about 20 (to the School of Maths) or 30 (to the Henry Price Building) minutes. Here are directions to the School of Maths; here are directions to the Henry Price Building.
